INGRAHAM
— Dorothy M. Ingraham, 90, of North
Loup, NE, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015,
at Rose Lane Home in Loup City.
Dorothy was born October 13, 1925, in North Loup, NE, to
Rex and Alma (Cox) Larkin. She was raised in North Loup
and graduated from high school in 1943. On October 23,
1943, Dorothy married Earl Hatcher at Grand Island. The
couple had a son, Nolan. They later divorced.
During World War II, Dorothy worked at the Union Pacific
Railroad and Coney Island while living in Grand Island. On
February 19, 1949, Dorothy was united in marriage to Weldon
H. Ingraham at Loup City. To this union a son, Eldon, was
born. They lived their entire married lives on the farm nine
miles south of North Loup. Mr. Ingraham passed away in
May 1985, and in 1989, Dorothy moved into North Loup
and made her home at NoLo Villa.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and
the North Loup Seventh Day Baptist Church. For over 20
years, Dorothy served on the Rural School Board and was a
volunteer at the Valley County Nursing Home for six years.
She enjoyed scrapbooking, photography and playing cards.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Karen (Mrs. Eldon)
Ingraham of North Loup; four grandchildren: Shawn Ingraham,
Lance Hatcher, Angela Hatcher, and Misty Horn; five step-
grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-
great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gary Larkin of Great
Bend, KS, and Gene Larkin of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
Weldon Ingraham; two sons, Eldon Ingraham and Nolan
Hatcher; a brother, Dale Larkin; two sisters, Frances Lorenzen
and Leo Day; and a great-grandson, Mitchell Hupka.
Services were held at North Loup Seventh Day Baptist
Church, with Pastor Scott Hausrath officiating. Burial was
in the Hillside Cemetery at North Loup. Memorials are
suggested to the North Loup Seventh Day Baptist Church
or North Loup Fire and Rescue Department.

A son, Parker Douglas, was born to Ethan and
Jasmine (Patterson) Stern of Salemville, PA on November 6,
2015.
