van DALEN-de GRAAFF
– Elisabeth van Dalen-de
Graaff, 87, of Milton, WI, passed away on March 16,
2015, at the Edgerton Care Center.
Elisabeth was born on March 25, 1927, in Schiedam, The
Netherlands, to the late Willem and Johanna de Graaff. She
married Dirk van Dalen on September 15, 1948, in Rotterdam.
After spending time living in Holland and Indonesia, they
moved to the United States. Elisabeth trained to be a Regis-
tered Nurse. She moved with her family to the Milton area
in 1973 and joined the Milton SDB Church in 1982. She is
survived by her ex-husband, Dirk van Dalen of Florida; 5
children: Frank, Willem, Ronald, Marian van Dalen-Anderson,
Caroll Foster; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;
1 great great-grandchild; brothers, sisters; and many nieces,
nephews and friends. Memorial services were held Saturday,
March 28th at the Milton SDB Church with Pastor George
Calhoun officiating.

at Bethel Baptist Church, Janesville, WI. The wedding was
officiated by the bride’s pastor.

Luke Lee and Claudia Sutherland were married on May 2,
2015, at the SDB Church of Milton, WI. The groom’s uncle,
Rev. LB Lee of Colorado Springs, CO officiated.
HARGETT — EARLY
Joel Hargett and Tamatha Early were united in marriage on
May 17, 2015, at the Davis Farm, Rome, GA. The Rev. Luis D.
Lovelace officiated.

ROOD
– Anna (Anne) Loofbourrow Rood, 97, died in
Berkeley, CA, April 15 (tax day!), 2015.
Anna was the widow of Dr. Wayne R. Rood, who taught at
the School of Theology, Alfred University for a number of
years, and then many years at the Pacific School of Religion,
Berkeley. She was a long-time member of the First Alfred
(Alfred, NY) SDB Church. She is survived by children
Suzanne Rood Cox and Wayne Randall Rood and two
grandsons.
LUBKE –
A son, Theodore Roland, was born to Katie
(Zamzow) and Neil Lubke of the Milton WI SDB Church on
June 18, 2015. He is welcomed by siblings, Josiah, Calvin,
Henry, and Eleanor.
CHRONIGER–
A son, Brayden Jaymes, was born to
Jennifer (Layton) and Tyler Chroniger of the Shiloh NJ SDB
Church on August 25 , 2015.
